The event marked an important step in the institution’s mission to prepare students for real-world challenges by providing them with hands-on learning opportunities and entrepreneurial experiences.

The MAGNA Association, a student-led organization, focuses on nurturing leadership qualities and enhancing managerial skills among MBA students. By involving students in various activities, seminars, and leadership development programs, MAGNA creates a platform to sharpen their abilities to manage teams, lead projects, and take initiative in academic and extracurricular environments.

The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Pragathi, an entrepreneurial skills initiative where students manage stores on campus. This initiative offers a unique, practical opportunity for students to develop and refine their business acumen by running all store operations—from inventory management to marketing and customer service. The program encourages students to think creatively, take calculated risks, and make strategic decisions—skills essential for future business leaders.

Several standout students have taken leadership roles in Pragathi, including:

  • Raghav Suresh – Project Lead for the store operations, overseeing inventory and financial management.
  • Meera Krishnan – Head of Marketing and Promotions, responsible for the campus store's branding and social media outreach.
  • Arjun Menon – Customer Relations Manager, focusing on providing excellent customer service and managing feedback from the campus community.

Through their involvement in MAGNA and Pragathi, students like Raghav, Meera, and Arjun are gaining invaluable experience that will serve them well in their professional careers. These initiatives offer a rare opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, fostering both personal and professional growth.

The inauguration was attended by esteemed faculty members, industry experts, and students, all of whom recognized the value of these initiatives in cultivating leadership, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
